Research Assistant
Position
The successful candidate will facilitate the work of the production team at BioMedCom™ by managing resource reference materials for projects, both external and internal. The incumbent will work with production personnel to support document preparation, as well as independently on individual assignments. Strong organizational abilities, determination, enthusiasm, and professional maturity are required to function effectively in this position. The incumbent will provide timely, high quality support for BioMedCom™ activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor level degree in a biomedical science
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in organizing documentation
- Tact and discretion in dealing with confidential materials
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to work to deadlines
- Strong organizational skills, committed to detail and precision
- Computer literacy (at minimum, a solid knowledge of Windows, MSWord
- Bilingualism (English/French)
Assets
- Experience with database management
- Good interpersonal skills
- Some work experience
Responsibilities include
The responsibilities of this position include but are not necessarily limited to:
- Managing resource reference materials for production
- Providing support for production meetings & web conferences
- Providing graphic design support & editorial assistance for BioMedCom™ Reports
- Providing support for information databases
- Maintaining BioMedCom™ databases
- Working to BioMedCom™ standard operating procedures
- Maintaining up-to-date procedures and forms related to responsibilities
- Supporting BioMedCom™ Senior Associates
